The Ikea Wood Stove V2

Post by Bearbonesnorm »

Some of you may remember a thread about the MYOG Ikea stainless wood stove. Picture below shows said stove in action. It works really well but it is quite bulky, measuring 90mm x 120mm. At the time I promised a smaller more compact version ... so here it is.

And this is it in bits. The base is in 3 parts which turn and fit together when not in use and the body can be 'rolled up'. Packed size is now roughly 70mm x 70mm so will fit inside most pots without any trouble. Weight is 80g all in. No reason why it shouldn't function just the same as the MK1 version, which'll be nice ;)

Superb. I made mk1. Will have a go at mk2. You are a clever man.
