Looking over at least 8 separate threads with stuff happening all round the country(*) reminded me to thank Stu for being the originator and driving force behind all this madness - hats off to yer, guv'nor.

Maybe we should wait and see what Sunday afternoon brings first
In fact that last one looks suspiciously like someone from this manor. But must have missed the third person at the WRT starting grid, no doubt she was there somewhere - and that looks just like the Dyfi estuary unless I'm very much mistaken.

I wonder how many in total will be heading out around the UK?
It's cool that it's happening. Why on earth isn't there a summer one when it's warmer and less rainy? We should aim for a summer solstice one (or the nearest weekend)
Have fun everyone , busy working next couple of weekends so well jealous .... My bike packing journey starts in January with the 1st of bivi a month , new year new adventures.

Well the weather in the Scottish Borders is looking good, two dry days with temps between 6-9°/ 6° overnight and light winds, even got sun forecast for today .

I'd estimate there's probably no more than 45 people heading out today. With a world population of 7.4 billion and a UK population of 64.1 million, that's a very small number, however, fewer people have changed the world before now
