Wildcat - the final sale
Wildcat Gear will be closing its doors at the end of March 2019. With approaching 10 years of UK-made bikepacking gear behind us, it hasn’t been an easy decision, but life constantly unfolds to present new challenges and we want to make the most of those opportunities. We started from very humble be...

Might be using a Gen 2 tracker that stops tracking after 24 hours without being reset. The time of last update would be consistent with yesterday's start time.Borderer wrote:He must be asleep, scratched, or as you say, the tracker isn't working. Hopefully its the latter.

Re: Wildcat Leaving Wales... :(
I can confirm that Wildcat along with the family are heading to Scotland. We are heading to North from the end of May. It has been in the planning stages for a long while now but now the movers are booked. I will try and keep the disruption of the shop and orders to a minimum but I am sure something...

Re: alternatives to alpkit tapered dryloks.
Probably an obvious answer to this... but how on earth do I tell what version of the Tiger I have? I want to order a tapered dry bag but I can't seem to work out if I have a Drover or a Wayfarer. Is there something I can measure to determine it? If you pop it in the scales a Drover weight 195g the ...

Happy Birthday.
In true Barrington style we are going for a big mountain ride and we will hopefully see time snow too.
And it is a very big Lego set, has 5 books of instruction.

The route is 150km but less than 1000m of climbing so not a massive amount of climbing.

Re: The post man's been ...
Anyway, a parcel from Wildcat today. Another fine example of how cunning use of straps can make bikepacking kit so much better - a Mtn Lion harness. Anyone set one up on a Loop bar / Truss fork combo? It's intended for the road bike but it has more potential than that, I'm sure there's a cunning wa...

I am very sad to say that Ian B is out.
He has been suffering with a Achilles tendon problem and the Hike a Bike sections have been very difficult.
Hope the rest of the riders are enjoying the riding as the trails are amazing.

Re: Highland trail 550!!
Some people may know that it was Alan G birthday today so a little surprise was organised for a special send off.
I haven't had it confirmed but the riders should have had birthday cake and a bagpipe send off.
Wish I had been there to see that.

Will you have any big handlebar harnesses with you as well? The one for big dry bags I will bring the big Lion. Would be interested in how much interest there is in it and if its worth a production run on them. Will the Lioness take an OS map? Just dug out a map and checked. The Lioness will take a...
