Headed out for June's BAM last night. Didn't go far, about 8-9 miles along an old railway trail to a spot in the woods just off it. Back again after very little effort made over the last few months. A check-up has picked up raised cholesterol. A Nurse appointment later has put it down to diet. No surprise there.

Same target as before. Next appt is in 6 months, so that's the deadline.

It was a beautiful warm day, so took the opportunity to head out for some acclimatisation training for my upcoming Scotland trip. 30 miles around trails and back roads with a mammoth 771ft of climbing. That should do it.
