Re: Blagging bike boxes in Nice?
Myself and a couple of mates recently rode from Calais to Cannes, and we flew home from Nice. We arranged for a bike shop in Cannes to keep some of the boxes new bikes are delivered in back for us. The shop we contacted was Veloland Cannes, they were happy to help. We did get a friend who is fluent ...

Re: Reilly bikes look really nice
I've got a Reilly Gradient and it properly is the dogs. I bought it frame only and when it turned up, I thought it was so nice I thought about getting a 2nd one just to put on the wall (but I'm not that rich!). I'm running it with 700c 45mm at the moment, but the new version takes 55mm, and that wo...

Looks like there is a new option in the running.
At that price the velocharger might be worth a try, and I like the fact its got a flying lead attached.

Well that's thrown a spanner into the works.
To be honest I would prefer the charger to be in my top tube bag out of the way.

Igaro D2 or Sinewave revolution
I am looking to update my usb charger, what's the opinion on these two chargers?
The only down side I can see to either is the D2 has those little pins that look ready to be snapped off.
Also one is £50 dearer, is it worth it.
Any help much appreciated.

Titanium seatpost on titanium frame?
Hi.
I am getting a new titanium frame soon, just wondering if there is any advantage to having a titanium seatpost instead of a carbon one?
Thanks in advance.
Andi.

Re: Bivvy a month 2022
Nice 👍 I assume you are "down south" as it definitely wasn't a night for being outdoors near me. 150 mph gusts on the summit of Cairngorm this morning and flying debris aplenty lower down. I am in Suffolk, it was I bit breezy but that kept the frost away I think. The weather is getting wo...

Re: Bivvy a month 2022
I decided I am going to give this another go this year, so I better get started. Due to work I have had limited time and last night was the last opportunity I would get this month. After picking the boy from his Friday night club I changed clothes and headed out on the bike to a spot about 7 miles f...

Re: Leave no trace: mainstream media
I think much of the problem is that its so easy to follow multiple people on social media or just browse so much stuff that there is no personal investigation or the need to spend money anymore. Its all free and it's all there in your hand while sitting on the sofa. People have said they used to rea...

Re: Soooooo far OT - non / low alcohol beers
I have been trying some LA beers over the past year. If I am sitting down mid afternoon to watch a game of rugby and I fancy a beer but don't want to be half cut before the game finishes LA beer works. And I find having a few LA beers during a night out between full alcohol helps to keep the alcohol...
