Anyone used one of these for filling up part used gas canisters for camping stoves? Any good.

Re: Which freeze dry meals would you recommend?
Breakfast I just use porridge oats and sugar plus dried milk...fruit be damned
I have used the decathlon branded dried meals and they have been fine, seem similar calorie wise as more expensive ones mates have had...they are all ok to eat at best so cheapness wins for me

Re: 8g meths stove help
Ok just tried it is garden, more fuel was needed I think, boiled some water easily, but I did burn my fingers trying to put it out, any tips on this as I can save fuel if I can put it out reliably. Next time I use it in the wild I might take a small tin try to stand it in as it looks like it would h...

Re: 8g meths stove help
Will try this later, thanks....how much fuel should I put in? Someone said not over small hole in side so should it be just below that or way below? Hopefully it will be less windy so I can use it without windshield to see what's going on.

Re: 8g meths stove help
Didn't seem to bloom...so flames come out of the holes in the sides...ok.
So mine wasn't really doing this...will look for hole halfway up, maybe it was over filled.

8g meths stove help
Bought one and it went on its first trip this weekend. I didn't really need a stove so it was an opportunity to have a play...put meths in, light, wait a bit, put mug on top, flame goes out. Try again....after a while it flares up, fire everywhere, out of holes in side etc, put cup on top, flame goe...

You win! Dollies @ Rotterdam. Hmm. Scumbash? 5th February? Bit of a chilly bike ride this time  . Me pal Lord Jezzer (yes, of Bell End) tried the Ramonas the other day. I see they're on in Bedford just up the road on December 16th. Lord Jezzer? My mate James used to live in Bell End. H...

I had Spyres on my Diverge, never better than OK. Replaced with Juin Tech R1's which have been going well for 3 or 4 years now, can be a bit screechy but stop you well. R1's are cable actuated hydraulics, easy to fit straight to cable levers

Riding along Kennett and Avon Canal after and overnight trip with my son, saw this this little fella swimming about, couldn't get out. Was just about to push my son in to save it when it just swam up to me and I could pull it out!

Re: Cargo trailer info required
I've done a few trips with my son using a very old Edinburgh Bicycles knick off of a Bob. It's ideal for the job but it does mean I have to ride my old 90's pub/commute Kona as it needs 26inch wheels with quick release.

My worry is that cyclists wouldn't get off as fewer jurors would see themselves as cyclists who weren't paying attention for a moment like they see themselves in other drivers. Agreed there are plenty of example of drivers being irresponsible [ as kind as i can put it and a massive understatement ]...

A mate of mine saw an Adder on Greenham Common (nowhere near Dartmoor). It was on the trail so he picked it up to move it and it bit him

. He has to go to hospital but was fine...He has had a lot of piss taking since then

Out teepee style Lanshan goes up outer only and is ideal for the dog. A bit of vet bed of the right size is useful if it's a bony lurcher like ours.
