I've yet to try these in the wet, but the fit is great and they're reduced to £105 from £140

Garmin Dakota 10
I've got a Garmin Dakota 10 GPS which I think will be fine as a backup for my backup Garmin 520 which is of course a backup for good ole fashioned paper maps. Question is: I know I can upload .gpx routes into the 'gpx' folder of the Dakota but how in the name of St.Alpkit do I get the uploaded route...

Sleep Mat
I currently use a OEX self inflating sleeping mat and it's ok but a bit big and bulky.
Any recommendations for reasonably priced alternatives?
I see Alpkit have a Numo currently on sale at £35. Anyone have one and is they any good?

Sonder Transmitter
I've decided to get a half decent hardtail to get out and do more stuff on. I'm limited to £1000 AND the Halfords Cycle scheme. I originally wanted a fat bike but a mixture of cost and availability has kicked that idea in the knackers. I really fancy the Sonder Transmitter as me next bike. Has anyon...

Re: Sleeping bag advice
Has anyone tried the British Army Arctic Sleeping bag? It's been mentioned a few times on various Faceache threads as a decent bit of kit for cold sleepers but I'm still in two minds about whether to get one. A Cairngorms weekender in late October isn't the place for sub standard kit. Thoughts and a...

Thule Tour Rack - The Answer?
'Lo Has anyone any experience of the Thule Tour Rack? I took my fully laden bike out for a trial run but even with the rear suspension fully locked out the rear tyre was ripping the arse out of my seat pack. The wife says I can't buy a new bike (she went on to clarify that when she said "new&qu...

Midlife Crisis?
Hello. I'm new here. Name's Jack. Now it could be the onset of midlife crisis but I've decided I want to "do more stuff" and one of the many stuff I've decided to start doing is bikepacking. I'm already a mountain biker with a mountain bike and everything but I've never bike packed before....
