Re: New GPS ideas please.
I’ve been using my works mobile (IPhone SE mk2) in an Otterbox Defender case with a universal stick on Quadlock fitting plus Quadlock handlebar mount. This set is cumbersome takes up a lot of space but is quite secure. Using Komoot routing can be a bit hit and miss, but I've been using it mainly on ...

Hi Shaf, Dan’s photo on today’s ride thread looks to me like there's a chip out of the paint/carbon after it happened. I can see a black line too further forward but unsure on that one.

Re: Todays ride
I did about a third of Shafs (redefine_cycles) North Peak 100. Unfortunely 2 mechanical issues put an end to Mr Shafs ride, the said cycles was truly Shaf(T)ed. :o single speed conversion out in the field/or wild. It also included a reminder why we should carry spare cable ties. And how undoing the...

Re: Come on Wales !!!
Spot on, should just do MOM, coaches and move on. Depending on the Pundits I normally just mute the pundit section before the game, at half-time and the end. But couldn’t resist this one. Inverdale used to really annoy me so I started muting then and found it improved the match watching exper...

Re: Come on Wales !!!
If she didn’t ask the difficult questions, she wouldn’t being doing her job, so no, she wasn’t terrible in my opinion. Farrell was almost petulant in his responses considering players get media training. And to describe her ‘having a bit of a meltdown’ is quite derogatory considering the amount of ...

Re: Come on Wales !!!
Wales have certainly ridden their luck so far, but our household is loving it! I thought the post-match interviewers were pretty bad, asking so many questions about the referee. An obvious point of discussion, but in a sport that is pretty much the pinnacle of respecting the officials, asking the p...

Enjoyed that, ref was poor but England gave away too many penalties. Well done to the Welsh. Triple Crown who’d a thought that after the Autumn internationals.

Re: Am I right in thinking that ....
Too much relying on the vaccine being a panacea, Well if it isn’t we’re f****ed, by June everyone will be vaccinated. My industry has been decimated by this thing, I’ve spent the last year constantly looking at redundancy while going through a divorce, sometimes I see only a shopkeeper during a wee...

Re: Am I right in thinking that ....
At the risk of being a killjoy, I have a bad feeling about this, there is a good chance for it to go pear shaped. Too much relying on the vaccine being a panacea, and joe public’s lack of patience could cause another lockdown. Looking at the amount of people booking holidays today doesn’t fill me wi...

Re: Fat Fighters 2021
Well after much prevarication weighed in at 107Kg, so all the weight i shifted I’ve put back on over the latest lockdown/Festive period. On the plus side I’ve cycled more in January than last month and I've increased my FTP to 254 from 239. Back to work Monday, 90Kg goal weight by the end of the ye...

Re: Where would you live in the UK...
Pretty much sorted where I am, though a cottage on the outskirts of a village further up the coast would be great if it happens. Pre-covid I could get into Edinburgh for a night out, rugby, shopping etc. Close enough if you need it but far enough away that we’re not a suburb of Greater Edinburgh yet...

Re: bespectacled night time off road runners
I use a Petzl Actik for running (and walking the dog, not much difference in speed
)
350 lumens and Core rechargeable version available too.
Simple and bright enough for me,
