looking for a set of riser bars for my krampus.
i need rise and backsweep. but i dont want any forward sweep on em,so kyotes or mary or jones type bars are out.
possibly 40mm rise and 15 degree sweep.

think i am ill fated to possibly never complete this ride.

43 years cycling......... never worn padded cycling shorts. my current fave set up for distance riding is primark cotton trunk underpants, which are longish in the leg bit, mated with some Altura all road gravel shorts. which are light, stretchy and not too baggy.https://www.tredz.co.uk/.Altura-All-...

the rims are Exal. from Spa.What rims? Some do OK when converted, some are just a waste of time or a guarantee of faff and may be better off with slime tubes combined with relatively light tyres.
i will have a go with the front one tomorrow. if it fails slime it is............

regents park to milton keynes is easy. grand union most of the way, then other waterways. and home down to nottingham looks easy to put together via tpt and clumber park and sherwood pines. midshires way from leicester to northampton. easy to put this together mainly off road. wont be technical but ...

well i have never used any kind of gps app in the UK either on or offroad.
i have OS maps which i use to check directions now and again.
when touring abroad i use cycle.travel which is pretty flawless.
