I have the weird ache in my foot as well, possibly not enough walking training for this ride

Oh and a blister the size of a 10p on my heel, all the rest feels good though

it wasnt until the end of the bracken I saw the really nice path 10m downhill ......

My wife asked why my bike was in a bracken hedge - and so did I at times .....

Well I can def say it was a cracker of a route - well the 116km of it that i saw, anyway,

Fantastic mix or rideable and unrideable - plenty of hills and a great bunch of people.

Sometimes life is much easier, I have 1 bike (mountain that is, I have loads of others) and 1 set of tyres so no questions there, once I get onto shoes though ......

Luckily I havent ridden this part of the world, so I havent a clue what it is going to be like - 550m of climbing you say ? Should be fine ......
