Afternoon
Planning a night out under the stars around the Chepstow area, anyone know somewhere suitably quiet to bed down for the night?

WTD: Hammock for scouts
Evening
Anyone have any suggestions for a reasonably cheap hammock for a couple of scouts trips? Don't want to spend too much as not sure how much it will get used.
Thanks in advance

Re: South West Bivvy?
Ditto with the bailing out.... a back injury has kept me offline for 2 weeks (and counting) and I don't want to risk anything longer term by pushing myself too hard too soon...
Shame though

Starter Sleeping Bag?
Yes I know.... there are probably ,000s of posts on here about bags but................. what can people recommend?
1. Under £70ish
2. Small pack size
3. Not concerned about what filling (synthetic, down, etc)
4. I am a warm sleeper
Give me some ideas, please....

Re: Winter Bivvy South West - Details
Getting my stuff together for the ride....suddenly its got cold and wet, typical.
As I wont be cooking out there, what food do people suggest to bring? I normally eat cereal bars, etc, when on a good ride. Also, how are people carrying water, or is there somewhere to fill up on the ride?
