Yeah to be honest I'm thinking more "I'm doing this thing if anyone else fancies joining me" type level of organisation

Re: 200 / 300 events
I must admit, I was considering organising a group start for my SD300, just not sure about the whole insurance / liability side of it, anyone have experience in that?

I think I have a GPX of the Lakeland one, but not heard of the peaks one. Is there a GPX of the route anywhere?

200 / 300 events
Hi all, not been on here for a while, after my recent (not so successful) dabble in the BB200 I realise that, for some reason, I want more of this.
What UK 200 / 300 style events are there that I can go do next year??
Cheers,
Jimbo

Re: Trans-Cambrian Way
I had a go in August too, really enjoyed the route, had rubbish weather on the last day though! We had a decent amount of time for it, so took our time and enjoyed the experience. I'd quite like to go back and have a go a bit quicker sometime though. https://bikepackinguk.com/2021/09/17/trans-cambri...

Assuming the whole covid / border situation is OK myself and a mate are going to race it in 2022. Fingers crossed, put it this way, all the planning and spending is aiming for next year.

Re: King Alfreds Way.
I'm looking forward to giving that a go. Out on the South Downs Way, round King Alfred, back along the Thames Path, then home down the BHF route. Should be fun!!
Don't forget my SD300 is down that way for anyone who fancies giving that a go....

Re: Downs 300 ITT
My route is different to the one DUncan originally proposed, I have ridden it all to make sure it works and there is NO footpath, it's all totally legal, otherwise I wouldn't have put it out there. Well done Javi, I hope it was hilly enough  And if anyone else fancies a go this is the link: ht...

Re: Hunt axle removal
Go onto the Hunt web site and talk to someone on the LiveChat or give them a call, they'll be happy to help you. I'm not at work today and can't think off the top of my head which hub they have, there's a lot of combinations!

I've heard it's grim up north

Re: Pipedream sleeping bag anyone?
I've got the PIpedream 400 (the older version, not the new one with hydrophobic down), I sleep cold and it's been really good. I've only really been cold doing the BB winter events, but I wore a down jacket too and that helped, a bit!

Re: Sussex bivi a month 2018
Hi Guys,
I'm in worthing and there's a group of us who BAM too, I've annoyingly managed to mis one as I broke a rib and I was up to 15 in a row, grrr!
I'll try to remember to keep an eye on this thread. Anyone getting one in before the end of March?
cheers,
Jimbo

Not familiar we the E trex unfortunately, I have a Touring Plussean_iow wrote:I usually take a printout of the route in case of GPS issues and mark that up with the turnings where a route splits but thought I'd ask in case there was a way to do it on the eTrex I was missing.
