I've a DD hammocks tarp which I used last time I wild camped on the bike, but we were on roads. I've just taken my loaded bike for a quick ride around the park, wondering if I have enough small gears for when it goes up hill. I"m on a cross bike with a mountain bike chain set and a 29 cassette ...

We are planning to camp out in woods on all nights. The tarp is just there because it will make it more comfortable if it's chucking it down.

Do I need to take a tarp and Bivi out with me this weekend for the WRT?

Bike is loaded up minus food and water and there aint much room left.

Any one recommend any nice food to take too, which is add water and hay presto you have nice food?
