Bit ironic cos they're in the Peak as well so just need make sure I don't bump into them. What're the chances... Hundred to one chances happen nine times out of ten. (Terry Pratchett. Can’t remember which book). Actually, just wear full Lycra cycle clothing, any self respecting wife would ignore th...

Would never have thought the Peak was so accessible to Milton Keynes! Had some nice rides on the singlespeed this week :-bd Went to see Simon Reeve last night, was great to see him in real. Gave some behind the scenes footage, gave some light hearted humour and some political parts too, well worth s...

Stoves and dry ground…

Can’t think of a catchier title I’m afraid Earlier in the week I headed into the forest for a coffee and took my stove to brew it myself. Just saw the forest are now advertising no BBQ nor fires and I’ve also saw a bikepacker/outdoors person saying they moved a few minutes away from the spot they we...

I was looking at that bag to go with my wildcat, I’ll have to pop an order in for it now. Ta :-bd

Re: What you done t' your bike today

Took a while to find this thread! Guessing everyone has been riding rather than messing about with bikes Last year I fitted some Clarks cable brakes to my El Mariachi just to keep it going, but they were rather poor. Fine for using with mini-voodoo at slow speeds but that’s about it. They were cheap...

I have a KNCN mount, lightweight and it’s anodised :-bd

Downside and I think most of these are similar, it’s oversized one side and standard on the other side, so means bulking out the light bracket for it to fit properly

If someone did an oversized option on both sides ends, I’d swap it out

Stunning photos, enjoyed scrolling through them A few stood out, love the blue town photos, really looks a nice place to visit. Did particularly like the photo of the two cats on the blue steps Certainly wasn’t expecting snow! I know they have that high up but was it something you were anticipating?...

Re: All the things that could go wrong

I think it was on the Tuscany Trail that my front brake went really poor. Quick check of the reservoir, empty! Turns out that the sunflower oil out of a tin of tuna is a pretty good substitute. It's OK on the chain aswell as I hadn't got any chain lube either  How many cats were chasing you?!...
