Did this route on Saturday, was really good! Had great weather which helped but certainly worth a go. Would be a big day to start/finish in Milngavie but worth it I reckon!

Just got my Ortlieb Back Roller Classic panniers and Ultimate 5 handlebar bag for some road touring! Had a pair of the panniers before but shredded one of them in a fall but they were great until then so another set was ordered.

Looks like a great route, been thinking of virtually the same thing so good to see someone else doing it and enjoying the ride! Thomson seatpost and stem have been very good so far, not problems in a few thousand miles of abusive riding including a couple of very salty/nasty Scottish winters!
