Well it’s the eve of the WRT, by this time tomorrow something like 120 riders from all over the UK and abroad will be strung out over the Welsh countryside. There’s been no shortage of the usual panic that accompanies the bult up to the WRT, I’m sure the very varied weather forecasts have played a big part in this … anything from biblical downpours to ‘it doesn’t look bad’ could be on the cards. Pretty much anyone can cope with one cold and wet night but adding a second is a whole new arena … we’ll have to wait and see if any of those ‘kit gambles’ pay off or whether saving a few ounces here and there results in regret and all night shivering ;o)


I’ll post again tomorrow with some pictures from the start.
